How to Make and Cancel an Appointment

 

Book face-to-face or remote appointments with your GP or clinician at a time that suits you.

Your details and information are protected by the highest standards of online security, so all you need to worry about is what to do with the spare time you’ve earnt.

Appointments

Reception can be contacted by telephone:

Mornings: 08:30 – 13:00
Afternoons: 02:00 – 18:30.

For your convenience, we offer the facility of booking and cancelling appointments and requesting repeat prescriptions on line. Please request a personal PIN number from our Reception.

 

Emergency Appointments

Emergency appointments are for medical emergencies only. They are with the Doctor on duty -not the Doctor of choice. If you come as an emergency you may have to wait until booked appointments are seen. If you would like to have an appointment with a particular practitioner, please inform the Receptionist when making your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Please call 8.30am for a morning emergency and 2.30pm for an afternoon emergency.

 

Doctor or Healthcare Assistant (HCA)?

If you require the following, you can see a HCA: routine blood tests, dressings, ears syringing, health checks and general health advice, stitch removal, urine sample testing.

Any patient between the age of 16 and 74 who has not attended the surgery in the past three years may request a health check appointment. Patients aged 75 and over should be seen at least once a year by one of the clinical staff. Please contact the surgery to book an over 75 health check if you have not been seen in the past 12 months. We can visit you at home if you are unable to attend the surgery for your Health Check.

Telephone Advice

A doctor is available 12:00 – 12:45 every weekday for telephone advice. If the doctor is busy, you may leave a message with the receptionist.

 

Choose & Book Service

The Practice offers a new service, which allows you, with your GP to choose your hospital and book an appointment using an electronic service. A leaflet detailing the Choose & Book Service is available from Reception.

 

Extended Access Appointments (GP Hub)

Due to changes in our daily lifestyles a late evening and weekend clinic has been established for Camden to help tackle this. There are currently four locations where a patient can go to have an appointment:

Appointments can be booked by calling the GP Hub team directly 020 7391 9979, or you can call the surgery during opening times or by calling 111.

You will need to give consent to have medical records shared, this will allow the Doctor you are going to see the information on our system so they can better help you.

If you do need to cancel an appointment please call us or 020 7391 9979 to cancel it, 111 can't do this for you.
