A carer is anyone who looks after or supports a close family member or friend which could be for a variety of reasons including terminal illness or age related issues.
1 in 10 people are currently carers and 1 in 3 people will at some point in their lives be a carer, there are 17500 carers in Camden.
Camden Carers Service can provide support for carers by assisting them with activities, including monthly health walks, health and lifestyle Consultations and access to counselling.
Being a carer can be difficult when involved with someone that you care for, however the service is there to help.
