Belsize Priory Medical Practice

Appointments

We run all our surgeries by an appointment-only system. Appointments can be booked by telephoning the surgery, visiting the surgery in person or online using Patient Access here.

Reception can be contacted by telephone:

Mornings: 8:30am – 1:30pm
Afternoons: 2:00pm – 6:30pm

If you require the following, you can see a HCA: routine blood tests, dressings, ears syringing, health checks and general health advice, stitch removal, urine sample testing.

You need to register to use our online appointment booking service and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of our receptionists.

Emergency appointments

Emergency appointments are for medical emergencies only. They are with a clinician on the day. If you come as an emergency you may have to wait until booked appointments are seen. If you would like to have an appointment with a particular practitioner, please inform the Receptionist when making your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Please call 8.30am for a morning emergency and 2.00pm for an afternoon emergency.

Evening and weekend appointments

Evening and weekend appointments are available by contacting Camden GP HUB, further information is available here.

Cancellations

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so that your appointment can be offered to someone else.

Cancellations notified less than 30 minutes before the appointment time will be recorded as failure to attend (DNA).

Repeated failure to attend booked appointments is a significant waste of NHS resources and may lead to your registration being removed from our list.

Home visits

Home visits are only for those genuinely too ill to attend surgery. Please contact us before 10:30am or 4:30pm if you need a home visit. The doctor will speak to you first to assess your need.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre.
